I’ve been #gleek ‘d
Although the Oscars are great for some folks out there… Doesn’t mean all of us enjoy the famed movie awards and weirdo film stars. I guess I’m in a lull of sorts. When I sit down to watch tv, I want something that will capture my attention, stimulate my mental sensorial palette. Something worth watching. Shows don’t have to be all that great, just filmed and written to perfection. Easy right? Take a look at “Entourage” or “Weeds” if you don’t believe me.
“30 Rock” or “Modern Family”… These are well written shows, some mildly famous characters with a mindless story. Another off the top of my head would be “Seinfeld” or “Weeds”… “Entourage” and so on.
My hope is that “Glee” can pick up the pieces; the pieces left from those shows that just don’t quite make the cut. The shows that have all the funny characters in the world, but the writing is off. All those shows that clog up the tube. Stupid “Desperate Housewives” and “Cougar Town”… Really, we can’t think of anything better? More stimulating?
