About Me
First things first, here is my resume… [ Resume ]. Hello, Brandon Sallee, nice to meet you.
A couple things about me off the bat, I’m an Experience/Web Development Professional for Progressive Insurance Mayfield Village Ohio, I’m an active board member with AIGA(The Professional Association of Design): The Director of Experience Development, I coach high school lacrosse at Shaker High School and most importantly, a family guy! If that is not enough I play softball and golf on the weekends, lacrosse on Mondays and any number of activities throughout the week.
As far as my career; I am versatile. Enough said, right? I have been working in the design/development space for number of years now. If you consider my fine art work, I have been at this for 12 years. Not bad for a 29 year old! My career encompasses all facets of user-centric design and media. I hold an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design with a Fine Arts Minor, a Web Design Degree and a Masters in Business Administration. I truly enjoy learning new skills and competencies to further my career and I like to tack credentials onto the back of my name: Brandon J. Sallee, MBA has a nice ring to it! Look for a Dr. in the front of my name here in the next three or four years! I know I’m ambitious. Moving on…
Now for the corporate speak for what I do professionally. Throughout my career, I have had an eagerness to create the EXPERIENCE. The one and only experience that will stand second to none. An optimal experience for the end user in order to establish standardized, competitive advantages. In other more simpler terms, make my customers happy.
User-centric design is created by both learning what the user needs through usability and focus group sessions, to culminate standardized applications and best practices. Ultimately, harvesting the best design attributes and user experiences for those customers moving forward.
As I have worked in the consulting and freelancing industries as well as Fortune 200 companies, the common vehicle throughout my career has been versatility and leadership focused on delivering effective solutions, while streamlining best practices and design principles. The same principles and practices act as the fibers woven together into a larger pattern to help me engage those in the AIGA community, on and off the lacrosse field and at home.
To round out the description of myself, I’m creative, funny, and quirky; three attributes that help me motivate others when working side-by-side to meet an end goal. I feel that I can accomplish anything, and the only thing holding me back is myself. Cheers to all of those who have helped me get to this point in my life; good and bad, through thick and thin… we made it this far.
This is me signing off.
